Orientation Survey: Availability

Now that you have worked on your basic schedule, I need you to tell me about when you are available to have regular team meetings!

Teamwork

In this class, we will break up into teams to provide support for each other and collaborate on homework. A sense of community is one of the highest contributing factors to success in an online course. These teams are meant to be a pleasant experience and I will do everything I can to make them useful for you all. Please give them a chance. :)

Learning to collaborate online is a very important skill as we all progress into the 21st century with more and more jobs moving online/remote.

If you are interested, feel free to check these out. They are optional.

Availability

I want to make sure that these times match up with as many of our schedules as possible. I also want to make sure that your teams are able to meet up online together weekly.

Please give me as much information about your schedule as possible in this survey.

Here are some reminders about how to do some things in Canvas! :) Click on the device you are currently using for the relevant list.

Reminder About Deadlines

Aim to submit all assignments, on time. They were created and organized with purpose to help you learn.

If you realize you will not be able to submit on time, you may ask for an extension before the deadline.

Life can be crazy, so late work is accepted. Canvas will automatically deduct 5% off per day up to 50% once the assignment is graded.

If you find yourself falling behind in the class, reach out so we can make a plan together! I am here to support you.
