Unit 7 Lesson: MS Project Resources Tutorial

Microsoft (MS) Project is an application used for managing projects and we will keep using it for some upcoming assignments. Last week, you added tasks to the schedule, and this week, you will learn to add resources to the plan!

Instructions

Note: If you use a Mac or Chromebook for your homework, you will need to use a virtual machine through NetLabs for each of your assignments using MS Project.

Resources in MS Project

1. Open MS Project and any files from last week's tutorial if you saved them.
2. Watch the videos below. You do not have to watch all of them in one sitting. Feel free to break it up!
3. Consider following along with the wedding planning example for practice in the program.
4. Completing the bathroom renovation exercise is optional and highly recommended for more practice!

In an effort to keep the materials for this class free, we will be using bits and pieces of a  5-hour long YouTube tutorial  throughout this class to learn how to use MS Project. This week, you will complete the tutorials related to resources.
